The Union «Nuclear Cities» has published a report on the results of the anniversary «Atomic Dictation», which concluded on September 28.

Over several years, the project has evolved into a large-scale educational movement. This year, it attracted more than 126,000 participants, with face-to-face venues operating across Russia, as well as in the Republic of Belarus, Hungary, and Turkey.

The anniversary format was particularly symbolic: the dictation was held for the first time on board the «50 Years of Victory» nuclear icebreaker, expanding its reach to the Arctic and becoming a truly unique event. The capital's venue, the Russian State Library, was no less significant. Here, participants gathered in the very heart of the country's literary heritage, among millions of books and rare editions. The Sirius Educational Center once again confirmed its mission as an educational hub, where schoolchildren wrote the dictation. At the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN), representatives from different countries joined the project, making the dictation a true bridge between cultures. At the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI, the dictation underscored the university's role as a flagship of nuclear education and a forge of scientific personnel. And at the branch of Moscow State University in Sarov—a city known for unique scientific developments—it took on special symbolism, reminding us of the continuity of generations in the nuclear industry.

In its anniversary year, the dictation was translated into four languages. This year, video questions for participants were asked by:

• Alexey Likhachev, General Director of the State Corporation «Rosatom»;

• Maksim Dreval, General Director of the Russian Society «Znanie»;

• Ksenia Artemyeva, General Director of the ANO «Tavrida.Art»;

• Ruslan Sasov, Captain of the «50 Years of Victory» nuclear icebreaker;

• Sergey Karjakin, Grandmaster, World Champion in Rapid Chess and Blitz, Senator of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation;

• Alexey Safonov, Mayor of Sarov;

• Kirill Perevalov, Member of the Presidential Council of the Russian Judo Federation, President of the «Diveevo» Academy of the Russian Judo Federation.

This year, almost every fifth participant demonstrated a high level of knowledge: 40% received a winner's diploma by correctly answering at least 26 questions. This confirms that interest in nuclear topics is growing, and the project is fulfilling its main task—engaging people in the world of science, technology, and history.

The participation of key partners was invaluable—the All-Russia People's Front (ONF), the Russian Society «Znanie», the «Tavrida» ART cluster, the «Icebreaker of Knowledge» project, and the «Another Thing» movement. Their involvement helped make the «Atomic Dictation» a true celebration of knowledge and unity.

The completed «Atomic Dictation» has become an important milestone: an anniversary event in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Russian nuclear industry.
